That’s weird….I have an HP and my wd passport works great. When it comes up with the list where you choose where to open it up…go to open up files. You can even bypass this and go to Computer and see it listed under Hard Drives. Click on it and you can see all you have on it.

This should work. If it doesn’t, go back to the store you got it at or go to HP or WD community forums.
