HELP! Which laptop should I buy on Thanksgiving sale?
I’m planning on buying new laptop on day-after thanksgiving.
As you know there will be big sales going on that day.
Where should I buy one from? and
Which CPU is best or good these days?
I’m thinking of sony laptop with Core Duo 2.
I like sony style and I heard Core Duo 2 overall provides nice performance nowdays.
I heard best buy or circuit city are rip-offs and it’s better to get from actual computer company like sony or dell. But the thing is I have to buy it online and I don’t think they offer thanksgiving sales.
Will best buy or circuit city have great computers for sale on day after thanksgiving? or do they only sell crappy ones cheap?
What do you think? I need help as soon as possible.
I thinks day-after thanksgiving is a good chance otherwise I may have to wait till christmas sale. lol

Yes, Core 2 Duo is the best right now.
Best Buy and Circuit City, and most stores like these, are rip-offs most of the time, but good deals can be had through them when they have sales. The key to finding a good deal is research. My advice is to do some ‘scouting’ by looking at the price of Sony machines all over the internet, but especially at newegg.com (best computer parts site ever,) tigerdirect.com, and zipzoomfly.com. Compare the sales that local places have to the prices at newegg, and if they’re lower or similarly priced for almost the same machine, then go for it.
