Thanks for your opinions. Based on others’ experiences, I’m trying to avoid Vista.
This is definitely an excellent price. The only concern I have for you is that they are only offering a 90-day warranty. Dell and HP (the last I knew) offer a full 1 year warranty on their refurbished models.
You are also making a good move avoiding Vista right now. I don’t think it is worth even attempting until at least Service Pack 1.
Also, do not fear the refurbished models. These PC’s have to go through more testing than new models in order for the companies to sell them, so your less likely to run into problems. Good choice.
