will airport security check or X-ray, damage my external hard drive?
i just bought a western digital passport Hard Drive, i can put it in my pocket, but wont it beep when i pass through the security? and if i put it through the x ray thingy, will it damage it at all? i dont want to put it in the luggage, and have it damaged . sorry its kinda a stupid question lol, but just 2 make sure
No, it won’t affect the hard drive at all. XRays are a form of light, not magnetic.
