Can you make a deal with dell computers?

my question is can you order a desktop pc through dell but instead of buying it from their website ordering by phone and getting a better deal? someone told me you talk with a live person and you can bargain with them.

i did! i asked to have it shipped WITHOUT any pre loaded garbage like mcafee or norton.
just the basic windows [ vista ] to be installed.
better price?

i applied on the website for an APPLICATION for financing and 3 days later,it arrived [ THE COMPUTER ] WITHOUT having ANY financial paperwork !!
took over a week to convince them i already HAD the stupid computer!
just needed the info on how much and where to send payments,ROFL !!
